Position Summary:
The Associate Planner is the primary Supply Chain contact for a product family or facility and is responsible for creating and managing an accurate production schedule for internal and/or external suppliers that considers shop floor capacity, customer priorities, raw material/components, and data integrity.
 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Create and maintain a feasible production or supplier plans and escalates disruptions 
•    Competent in production planning work processes and procedures for area of responsibility
•    Is able to develop rapport with local department level resources and/or suppliers to solve problems 
•    Is able to recognize basic business system issues and escalate accordingly
•    Is able to analyze supply and demand plan and develop a recommended action
•    Basic understanding of production and/or supplier performance metrics. 
•    Manages own time effectively to complete daily work routine and objectives.
•    Demonstrates basic knowledge of supply chain concepts and performance
•    Is receptive to new ideas and adapts willingly to support change initiatives
•    Demonstrates urgency when addressing customer requests
•    Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:
•    High School diploma or equivalent
•    Bachelor’s degree; or 1+ year of supply chain experience; or 2+ years of manufacturing experience
•    Competent in using MS Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    SAP Experience a plus
