Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist - 6719 - Solon Ohio

Position Summary:

The Talent Sourcing Specialist manages the first stage of the recruiting process. In this role, you will use various channels to source passive candidates and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs for the enterprise. The Talent Sourcing Specialist will proactively help us identify talent to fill a variety of roles across all sites. The Talent Sourcing Specialist will research, create and implement effective sourcing strategies to develop diverse candidate pools and sustain a healthy pipline of talent for Swagelok’s current and future needs. This role acts as an informal leader across the sourcing team guiding others on strategies and candidate pool development.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and future positions, utilizing market insights, business acumen and reporting tools
•    Be an ambassador of Swagelok’s culture and values to elevate the candidate experience
•    Attend internal and external virtual and in-person recruiting events
•    Craft and send recruiting emails to passive candidates Coordinate with Talent Acquisition Partners to determine position requirementsManages candidate interview schedule with Talent Acquisition
•    Keeps track of pre-defined sourcing metrics and reports on them 
•    Identify diverse and qualified candidate pool using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
•    Develop diverse talent pipelines in Applicant Tracking System for future hiring needs
•    Maintain candidate information in Applicant Tracking System while ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.  
•    Ability to create and maintain a proactive candidate database
•    Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, are invited to interviews, receive offers and are hired
•    Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
•    Partner with External Communications on recruitment marketing and advertising campaigns to attract passive candidates and job seekers to Swagelok  
•    Participant during intake meetings with Hiring Manager and Talent Acquisition Partners to understand job specifications, target candidate profile and develop a sourcing strategy
•    Function as primary point of contact for connecting with associate referrals and ensuring all referred candidates complete application in ATS prior to conducting preliminary screenings
•    Coach others on sourcing strategies and business need

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

•    Minimum of 4 years experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role in Talent Acquisition 
•    Experience with building strategic sourcing strategies for particular skill sets
•    Experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
•    Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems 
•    Solid verbal and written communication skills
•    Familiarity with Manufacturing/ Machining companies within Northeast Ohio
•    Ability to positively present Swagelok and open roles to potential candidates
•    Effective time-management abilities
•    High School diploma required; Advanced Degree preferred
