Change & Quality Management Analyst

Use your foundation in IT quality control to enhance the change management program - including best practice training with developers and project teams to adhere to quality processes and testing methodologies in all phases of the system development life cycle.

 

Position Summary

Responsible for designing and developing process, product and service improvements.  Has duties mentoring and providing guidance to other IS Quality Assurance personnel and is able to document and present complex ideas and lead others to solve complex problems.  Contributes to the development of standardized IS processes and procedures to ensure that quality is not sacrificed in the name of completed objectives.  Works collaboratively with project teams to ensure that the Software Quality standards and procedures are adhered to.  Provides guidance to developers and project teams in applying the Software Quality processes in all phases of the system development life cycle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that software development projects adhere to the Software Quality standards and procedures.
  • Educate all levels of staff in Quality practices, procedures, and tools.
  • Provide guidance to Developers and project teams in applying the Quality processes in all phases of the system development life cycle.
  • Provide guidance to project teams in building business process models, building test plans, and test cases to ensure requirements will delivered during implementation.
  • Coordinate activities to develop approaches for all levels of application testing including automated testing.
  • Coordinate activities to prepare environments for functional unit, system, integration, and User Acceptance tests.
  • Develop evaluation criteria for tools that support Quality processes including a central software repository, release management, and the test execution process. Select and administer tools that support these criteria.
  • Develop and organize documentation related to standard work, policies, and business processes. 
  • Provide support and assistance to toolset users
  • Able to document and present complex ideas and persuade others to adopt a different point of view and lead others to solve complex problems.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to other I.S. Quality Assurance associates on their assignments.

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Experience: 

  • Strong working knowledge of testing tools and their utilization in various Development environments.  
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills to articulate test approaches, testing options and recommendations
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Experience on Software Development lifecycle
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Structured, methodical worker with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
