Senior Knowledge Sharing Leader Position Summary:
Our Senior Knowledge Sharing Leader proactively defines high-level approaches to knowledge sharing and knowledge management. The Senior Knowledge Sharing Leader anticipates issues and navigates cross-functional boundaries and complexities to continually apply best practices for the creation of, and improvement to, enterprise knowledge methodologies with minimal guidance.  Requires deep understanding of how the business operates as well as the technologies that enable business solutions. 
 
This consultative role will provide the training, direction and leadership for the foundational knowledge sharing activities to attain critical business objectives.  Partners with the leadership teams to advise on achieving deliverables and objectives.  Our Senior Knowledge Sharing Leader will be instrumental in recommending and building enterprise solutions to advance knowledge sharing and knowledge management practices. 

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
 

Requirements: 
•    Bachelor's degree required
•    5+ years of Knowledge Sharing/Management experience or closely related and relevant work experience leading large departmental or mid-size corporate projects. 
•    Thorough understanding of broad business processes and process improvement methods. 
•    Thorough understanding and application of knowledge sharing principles including consultative background around: Knowledge Mapping, Knowledge Flow Improvements, Change Management, Business Process Mapping, and KPI Development methods.  
•    Advanced implementation of problem-solving techniques.  Experience in supervision or informal leadership roles preferred.
 

Skills / Knowledge:  
•    Has expert knowledge and insight of the theories, methodologies, practices, and procedures related to knowledge management  
•    Consult on the development and implementation of new knowledge sharing methods to improve the business.
•    Achieve business improvements by enabling knowledge sharing and knowledge flow using standard tools: Knowledge Sharing Community Development Process, Knowledge Management, Project Management, Communication Methods, Collaboration Tools etc.)
•    Applies experience and knowledge at an organizational level.  Demonstrates the ability to complete major and complex projects.  Advanced problem solving and significant decision-making abilities to get to the root of the process requirements and reduce non-value-added activities.  
•    Fully capable of understanding and analyzing data trends with an expert awareness of industries served and critical business applications 
•    Work closely with leadership to improve department knowledge flow.
•    Work closely with associates to improve their competency regarding collaboration techniques and leveraging critical knowledge for reuse.
•    Improve the processes and systems used to improve communication and act on key lessons learned. 
•    Assist in the development of key metrics for knowledge sharing focused on meeting critical business objectives
•    Lead the network of knowledge sharing stakeholders to facilitate best practices.
