Position Summary:

The Senior Internal Auditor plans, organizes, and conducts financial audits, consulting reviews, and assists in projects designed to enhance our core business processes. This role will include interaction with the other departments not only ensuring maintenance of policies, procedures, and controls but sharing best practices in support of our strong continuous improvement philosophy. The Sr. Internal Auditor will design audit engagements while working with our enterprise risk management team.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Assist audit management in the development and preparation of the annual audit plan. Identify, schedule and assign resources to meet project completion dates.
•    Identify and evaluate audit risk areas to develop scope and test of controls
•    Familiarity with Information Technology based audits
•    Knowledge around various applications, databases, operating systems, and network controls.
•    Collaborates with auditee to remediate issues identified during project.
•    Accountable for timely reporting of audit results and presentation to key stakeholders and senior management.  
•    Support operational improvement by being an active member of the team and sharing best practices.
•    Exercise high degree of discretion due to sensitive information that is handled
•    Performing special projects as necessary


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


•    Bachelors’ degree reequired,  Accounting and/or finance degree strongly preferred.  
•    5+ years of professional auditing experience
•    Experience leading audit projects and applying project management skills
•    The ideal candidate for this role must have knowledge of SAP Advanced risk identification, analytical, and problem solving skills.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, and organized.
•    Ability to work with minimal supervision
•    Candidate must be able to work with personnel at all levels of the organization
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Aptitude to learn and adapt quickly to new software.

•    MBA and/or CPA 
•    CIA, CISA or other applicable certification
•    Experience auditing IT security and/or  infrastructure within SAP environment
•    Audit experience in a manufacturing environment
