Position Summary:

The executive recruiter is a key business partner and strategist who will be responsible for full-cycle executive-level current & future hiring needs. This position will be accountable for partnering with executives throughout the organization to create a sourcing strategy, source, and recruit external candidates for executive roles. The role encompasses external research, proactive recruiting, diversity recruitment programs and partnerships, candidate assessment, and consulting skills to deliver top-tier service and value to the hiring teams. The role requires a proactive, strategic and innovative thinker who can partner with the business to forecast senior leader hiring needs and collaborate with teams to ensure the ongoing success of Swagelok.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Lead executive search life cycle, which includes:
    o    Launch and build a robust search strategy based on the Hiring Manager's needs 
    o    Provide strategic guidance to Hiring Managers based on the talent insights
    o    Lead the interview process and provides timely updates on the progress/challenges to the Hiring Manager and the HR Business Partner
    o    Support candidate assessment to support the interview teams in behavior based interviewing and consistent selection
    o    Partner with Total Rewards to create and deliver competitive offers
    o    Partner and manage 3rd party firms if applicable 
•    Build and lead strategic recruiting programs focused on diversity talent. 
•    Provide outstanding thought partnerships to corporate functions to shape and best match the needs of Swagelok with the talent in the market
•    Build strong relationships and influence senior business leaders and HR leaders through data analysis and talent insights
•    Foster trust-based relationships with candidates, gaining a close understanding of their requirements and concerns
•    Ensure strategies and process deliver a world class candidate experience.  Enhance current practices as appropriate.
•    Build relationships across the talent acquisition organization to leverage learnings, share best practices, and scale ideas. Align executive recruiting efforts to the organization’s overall talent strategy, priorities and processes.
•    Partner with Communications to create targeted employment brand materials to support candidate awareness of Swagelok.
•    Define, measure, report and resolve key performance indicators and metrics for the executive search space.  Incorporate lessons learned over time.  

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements


Required Basic Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business, or a related discipline OR Equivelant experience in lieu of degree.    
•    A minimum of 6+ years of talent acquisition experience required with 5 years of executive search and assessment (in-house or retained search) experience 
•    Strong experience in sourcing passive executive level candidates through referrals, warm leads, cold calls and other direct sourcing techniques
•    Consulting on and negotiating complex compensation and mobility packages to assist with hiring decisions
•    Passion for creating a positive candidate and hiring manager experience 
•    Knowledge of progressive, best-practice recruiting tools and methodologies as well as legal requirements
•    Experience with passive candidate sourcing 
•    Excellent oral and written communication 
•    Ability to communicate with and influence senior leadership
•    Ability to understand and articulate internal customer's requirements, culture, and other compatibility issues that are critical to making a successful hire


Preferred Qualifications:
•    Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
•    Global cultural orientation, with international work experience
