Performs multiple CAD related assignments of moderate to complex scope with minimal guidance from supervisor, engineers, technicians, or standard work. Leverages standard drawing practices to complete assignments. Evaluates and prepares information to determine the effect of proposed changes to product drawings and CAD practices. Is a CAD resource to the organization, providing support and moderate to complex problem solving to CAD related issues.



Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some technical courses or on the job training in related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in related field
  • Proficient user of moderately technical tools
  • Recognized as resource in areas of expertise
  • Demonstrates proficient communication, programming and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong abilities in the use of moderately technical tools and lab equipment and instrumentation (Equipment may vary based on department)
  • Good computer and typical office software skills
  • Strong written communication skills
