Position Summary:

The Engineering Intern will work on continuous improvement projects within one of our service or corporate groups. Assigned projects will vary with each group. Some of the projects include process development, capability studies, design solutions, improved product performance projects, and business process standard work improvements. This is a 3-month full-time summer internship. 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

· 1-3 years completed towards a degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution required.   

· A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. 

· Prior internship experience is preferred. 

Preferred:

· Prior internship experience is preferred

· SolidWorks experience is preferred. 

· Basic computer skills (Microsoft office), good communication and organization skills and the ability to work as part of a team or accomplish tasks independently 

  Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

·      Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

·      Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
