Position Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating all hourly workforce training and development activities for the designated business unit.  Areas of responsibility include associate onboarding, training and development, external engagement in the community, leadership engagement, data and project management, and recruiting.  This role serves as primary lead and/or coordinator in many of these activities and is often leveraged as a subject matter expert.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Partner with Operations leadership and HRBPs to monitor labor needs
•    Participate in the hourly interview process where needed
•    Coordinate and participate in community engagement activities related to hourly recruiting

Associate Onboarding
•    Partner with On-the-Job Trainers (OJTs), Supervisors, and Site Managers to ensure execution of onboarding training
•    Facilitate the selection and development of OJTs to drive consistency of training
•    Traverse the floor to engage with associates and ensure training is executed

Training and Development
•    Evaluate business units overall training and development requirements, business objectives, desired results, and constraints; facilitates skill assessments and planning to identify specific training, development, and promotional needs for respective department (ongoing throughout the year)
•    Advise on and assist in coordination of associate development needs
•    Facilitate execution of associates skill qualification tools
•    Execute instructor-led training
•    Execute data entry in to Learning Management System
•    Lead curriculum development as a subject matter expert
•    Drive leadership accountability to HWD processes for specific business unit

External Engagement
•    Manage external engagement with career and technical schools and programs
•    Participate in advisory boards of career and technical schools and programs
•    Coordinate hourly interns for designated site

Leadership Engagement
•    Primary engagement with Supervisors and Site Managers
•    Attend staff and leadership team meetings (e.g. PMTs, DOMs, Ops Reviews) where appropriate
•    Conduct 1:1s with Site Manager leadership
•    Mentor production supervisors

Data and Project Management
•    Manage administrative responsibilities for associates skill qualification tools and Learning Management System (LMS) data entry
•    Assist HRBPs in supporting monthly headcount reconciliation for business units
•    Monitor key training metrics
•    Project manage small scale training and development projects aligned to the Hourly Workforce Development Roadmap

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent
    Training and development experience

    Bachelor’s Degree
    1-2 years of supervisory experience
    3-5 years of manufacturing experience
