1. If you meet the qualifications, a pre-screen / initial introductory conversation will be conducted

2. Based on the results of the pre-screen, you may be scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager.
- Depending on the role, you may have additional interviews


1. Congratulations! If you are selected as the best candidate for the role, you will receive a verbal and official online offer.

2. Your background check and drug screening will be initiated.

3. Once you successfully complete our pre-employment requirements, you will be contacted regarding the next steps in onboarding.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I have applied, how do I check to see where I am at in the process? If I have applied, how do I check to see where I am at in the process?  

Log into your Swagelok Candidate profile using your email address and password to check on your status. If you have additional questions, send an email to recruiting@swagelok.com and someone will reply within 2 business days.

I don’t have a resume, what should I do?

Candidates can use the PDF resume template to create a resume. Please download this PDF template and save on your local computer to upload during your Candidate Profile creation. 

Is this the exact process I can expect to experience?

Each role may differ slightly, but your experience should be very close to the process above.

What do I do if I can’t log into my profile?

Step 1: Click Forgot Password and try resetting your password 
Step 2: If the password reset does not work, and you have been given an offer already, please reach out to your recruiter
Step 3: If you have not received an offer already, please create a new profile and reapply

I’ve registered for a time during Swagelok interview day, do I need to apply first?

Yes. We recommend that you apply for a job in advance of your interview day appointment.

If I do not see my offer, what should I do?

Check your spam inbox. If you are still unable to locate it, signing into the candidate profile and going to my documents to view the offer letter. If after that, you are still unable to locate the offer letter, reach out to your recruiter. The offer was sent to the same email that you used to apply.

I accidently deleted my offer letter email, what should I do?

Log into your Swagelok profile, click on the box labeled “My Documents” and your offer letter will be one of the documents listed. Click on it and follow the onscreen directions to accept or decline the offer.

How long will my background check take?

Background checks vary depending on the person, can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks.

Where do I go to take my drug screen?

Once you accept our offer of employment, you will receive an email from our 3rd party vendor HireRight. HireRight will walk you through the process of starting your background check and help you select a location for your drug screening.

When does my 48 hours start for the drug screen?

This clock starts when you enter your address on the HireRight site and select a testing location.

If the closest Labcorp does not have an appointment, can you select another location?

You can select any location you would like. You do not need a new barcode to go to another location.

I didn’t receive my Onboarding paperwork, what should I do?

First, check your spam folder. If you are unable to find your Onboarding paperwork there, then reach out to your recruiter.

When is orientation?

Orientation occurs on Mondays at 8 am. You will receive an email telling you how long orientation is and where it will occur.

What day do I go to my job?

It will depend on your new job title. We include a training schedule with your orientation email, you report the day after your orientation ends.

When should I put in my two-week’s notice with my current employer?

You should wait until your background check is complete and we have notified you of a start date.

When do I order my uniforms and how?

On your first day on the shop floor, your supervisor will help you. Please fill out the uniform sheet that was given to you and bring it with you on your first day.

When completing Onboarding paperwork, do I need a computer?

Yes, you will need to complete it online.
